living in a fish tank?
So the Swimming with Dolphins / Places and Numbers tour has come to a close. I love Austin and Bobby to death. I give them props for dealing with us and our bad habit(s) over the past month. I wish them nothing but the best.
With that aside i’d like to talk about a few things. I’ve never really been one to “blog” or write my thoughts down. I’m actually kind of excited about starting this thing up. Hopefully I will look back at this first post in a year and remember that I was outside of Peter Boyers apartment complex stealing someones wifi.
Anyway…
Over the last three weeks i’ve been battling an awful sinus infection. During our lovely stay at SXSW I came down with a cold. I’ve always had a shitty immune system so when I get sick i’m usually sick for awhile. After numerous elevation changes on our way to California my ears decided that they just didn’t want to pop anymore. I’ve never been so uncomfortable in my life. Everyday I wake up hoping that i’ll open my mouth and not hear what sounds like the inside of a seashell. As of right now I have two options.. I can either wait this one out or get small incisions in my eardrums. Supposably this procedure will even out the pressure and this fish tank sensation will go away.
Fuck surgery. I’ll wait it out…
Well it’s been fun. We’re about to embark on our tour with The Morning Of and Sparks the Rescue. Our van randomly decided to start beeping again today so i’m sure this drive to Illinois will be hell. It’s worth it though! Come out to a show and get hugs. Until next time..
